Perhaps you are looking for a new hobby to share with like-minded people? Maybe you enjoyed art at school but have never had the opportunity to practice it since? The Seasons Art Class Durham is now taking enquiries for a new 14-week, part-time art class, starting soon at Newton Hall Community Centre. We provide a high standard of progressive tuition in a friendly and welcoming environment. During our course explore four widely used mediums - pencils, oil pastels, watercolours and acrylic
paints. Discover how to capture a variety of subjects, from familiar faces to misty mountain tops, juicy fruits to exotic birdlife. Learn the secrets used to create beautiful, original works of art.Even if you have never picked up a brush before, we will guide you through our course to make it easy and fun! We provide extra support should you need it and you’ll go home with a handout to consolidate what you have learned in class.
On completing the course, you will have twelve unique pieces of artwork and be able to draw and paint things you didn’t believe possible. This is an extremely enjoyable way to develop your creative side, make new friends and really look forward to the next few months.
