The Legion Strength and Fitness is a local Veteran owned gym in Durham. We are a small local gym with the goal to help and support people from all walks of life. Dan is a Veteran and Becca is a trauma amputee so we have a lot of experience between the two of us when it comes to helping people from different backgrounds.
We have a variety of equipment from traditional powerlifting kit, to bodybuilding free weights, cardio, punchbags to specialist strongman equipment.
The gym is a FULLY accessible and inclusive environment which means we have designed the gym for ease of access if you have mobility issues, someone is always around to help/answer any questions or just to have a chat with. We also have a fully accessible recovery suite - this consists of a wheelchair accessible sauna and a low level ice bath. The ice bath itself has been found to significantly improve mental help and mental resilience.
Here at the Legion Strength and Fitness we are focused on helping people which is why we are offering veteran, blue light and student discount on memberships, an open door if you need to have a chat and guided use of the ice bath for mental health.
We believe the gym should be ACCESSIBLE for EVERYONE so if you're struggling with the cost of living crisis, we'll do our best to help as everyone should have access to the gym!

Monday-Thursday 6am-9pm, Friday 6am-7pm, Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 10am-2pm
